| CALCRA's primary
mission is the representation of thousands of CCRC
residents throughout California. We strive to ensure that
the legal and contractual commitments of providers with
respect to the health and welfare of residents are
promoted and protected and that the financial condition of
providers shall at all times remain viable. Our
objectives are accomplished by legislation and
negotiation.
Local
chapters may be formed at CCRC facilities having 25 or
more CALCRA members or two or more facilities Located in
the same area with a total of 25 or more CALCRA members.
CALCRA
volunteers perform all administrative duties. We have one
professional legislative advisor Our annual budget is very
modest Our income is generated from our members annual
dues. $18.00/single, $30.00/couple
